Sunday, December 30. 2007Feast of the Holy Family Celebrated Pictured are (from top left): The Scanlon Family, the Jusas Family, the Beirne Family, the Farrell Family, the Mortimer Family, the Darmanin Family.and the Sperduto Family. Last weekend, on the Feast of the Holy Family, members of families from our parish assisted with the readings.
Tuesday, December 25. 2007St. Patrick's Choir Performs at Christmas Midnight Mass Our choir has their new robes blessed by Fr. Walden prior to the Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, and then gave a terrific performance to welcome our Lord into the world.
Saturday, December 22. 2007Isaiah Visits During the 4th Week of Advent The prophet Isaiah speaks to children at the 5 PM Saturday Family Mass on the last Sunday of Advent, John Ryan portrayed the angel Gabriel and Samara McCourt portrayed Mary.
Tuesday, December 18. 2007St. Patrick's Choir Performs at Sunrise Center On Tuesday, Dec. 18th, the St. Patrick Choir performed Christmas carols for the residents of Sunrise Center in Smithtown. More photos will be available on the St. Patrick website photo gallery.
Monday, December 17. 2007Knights of Columbus makes donation to "New Life Center" Pictured are (in back, from left): Tom Keane, Grand Knight; Laszlo Girhiny, and Joe Arico, Carol Tavis. In front is the center’s director, Donna Crean. Holy Mother Mary Knights of Columbus recently delivered 23 bags of maternity and baby clothing, as well as three bags of baby food to the New Life Center of Long Island in Deer Park. Thank you to all who donated and to those who transported all the clothing!
St. Patrick School Celebrates Christmas St. Patrick School celebrated Christmas with many activites for the students. Kindergarten students sang christmas carols, Other students held a pagent.
Sunday, December 16. 2007St. Patrick Youth Christmas Show St. Patrick's Youth presented another wonderful Christmas Show performance on Sunday, December 16th. More photos of the show will be available on the St. Patrick websites photo gallery.
St. Patrick's 2006 Lenten Project in India Opens In 2006, our Parish Lenten Project was to finance the construction of a center for the disabled in South India which has now become a reality. St. Patrick’s Anugrahalaya (House of Blessing) was blessed and opened last month and is now providing much needed assistance to the disabled in the region. Many thanks to all those who donated to this very worthy project.
Tuesday, December 11. 2007St. Patrick School Christmas Concert The Christmas concert on Tuesday December 11th was the best it has ever been! Mrs. Benkovsky was so proud of everyone who helped make that day and night a complete success! The twirlers were adorable. The new Recorder Club was terrific. The chorus was absolutely fantastic. Special thanks to the chorus officers, piano player and her assistant, and to our solo singer. All of them did a great job. The band played the best they have ever played. The children of this year’s Christmas Concert really shined! Mrs. Benkovsky would like to wish everyone a Happy & Healthy Christmas and New Year.

Monday, December 10. 2007"Reach for A Star" Gifts Collected for Distribution Volunteers from Parish Outreach organize “Reach for a Star” gifts for delivery. Thanks to all the parishioners who helped reach out and make Christmas just a little bit brighter for a family in need.

Blessing the Newly Baptized Parents of babies recently baptized in our parish were invited to come forward for a special blessing at the Saturday 5 PM Family Mass on Saturday, December 8th,2007.
Friday, December 7. 2007Confirmation Students Visit Group Home Preparations for Christmas were also taking place at the Maryhaven Group Home in Port Jefferson. Young people preparing for Confirmation helped residents decorate and presented each one with a gift and a Christmas card.
December Students of the Month St. Patrick School named its Students of the Month for the month of December at the December 7th First Friday Mass. Students receiving the award this month have exhibited the character trait of compassion.
