Monday, March 30. 20096th Grade CYO Basketball Champions! Congratulations to the sixth grade CYO team from St. Patrick’s which recently won the Division C Championship by defeating St. Martins 57-41 in the championship game. Team members are: Michael O’Connell, Chuckie Peck, Noah Orosco, John Reilly, Danny Groeneveld, Andrew Mundy, Max Rosentahl, Jake Duerwald, Matt Aprile, Brandon Williams and Michael Shaw. The team is coached by Dennis O’Connell and Dan Williams. Tuesday, March 17. 2009St. Patrick Twirlers March in St. James Parade Members of the St. Patrick School Twirlers participated in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in St. James on March 17th, 2009 St. Patrick Blue Lancers March in St. Patrick Day Parade St. Patrick’s Blue Lancers Drum & Bugle Corps proudly represented our school in the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The Blue Lancers are always taking new members. For information, call Ed at 979-8578. Friday, January 9. 2009Better Days Lock In Participants in “Better Days,” an overnight youth lock in, pose for a picture following an 7 AM Mass which concluded the event. The night included prayer, reflection, entertainment, activities, and plenty of food. The "Lock In" took place from the evening of Friday, January 9th, 2009 to the following Saturday morning. A Youth Community Thank YouDear Youth Leaders and Lock- In Participants, On behalf of the St. Patrick Youth Community we want to thank all of you for your presence last Friday night/Saturday morning. For the leaders; your guidance and example are appreciated for all the Youth in our community. On any given night, you could have been elsewhere...you chose to be with us, sharing your Faith with others. To the participants; we hope your experience was a great one and that you will feel free to come and join us in all of our activities here. A special thanks to Bob, Mary, Rick, Meagan, Lauren, Rocco, Bill and Fr. Jilson. We are so fortunate to have such great volunteers. We will miss you Fr. Jilson. We also want to thank Eileen and her teachers who encouraged so many students from the Parish School to attend. Peggy was also very instrumental in gathering her flock to participate.
